I am helping youth aging out of
foster care but need everyones help to spread my message of a current need
WE NEED YOUR IMMEDIATE RESPONSE: CEEK To Fulfill is asking for the support of Foster Youth, Former Foster Youth, Foster Parents, Adoptive Parents, Relative Care Givers, Social Workers, or anyone with heart, passion, or concern for youth. We need for you to make a
tax deductible donation of $20 or more within the next two weeks. By doing so you help to ensure that we can continue to provide housing that prevent or resolve homelessness for youth that have aged out of Foster Care. Please plant your financial seed in the garden of their promising futures. You can donate at our website www.ceek2fulfill.com or mail your donation to 2890-A Georgia Highway 212 Suite # 140 Conyers Georgia 30094.
The article that you linked to was rather strange. Build a foundation with pleasant surprises and fire drills? Getting to know their favorite things?

I've been doing foster care for teens for seven years. How about:

Demonstrate that you are willing to sit and listen when they are upset, even when they are upset at you.

Don't take what the say personally, let it roll off. Don't escalate.

Don't try to force emotional bonds. Let them take their time and come to you.
