You may be eligible for funding of up to $5000 per year while you are in college or a vocational or technical training program!
You may qualify if:
• You are 18, 19 or 20 years old.
• You are in foster care or you were in foster care as a teenager and you are a US citizen or qualified non-citizen.
• You aged out of the foster care system at age 18 or were adopted from foster care with adoption finalization after your 16th birthday.

Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth

They are the only youth service provider in community Nevada with a continuum of care extending from street outreach and 24-hour crisis intervention services to a full-time drop-in center and an independent living program.

They offer transitional living at one of their furnished condominium units if the person is currently attending school or working full-time.

The Safe Place drop-in center is located at 4800 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite E. The hours of operation are Monday - Saturday, 9:00am - 6:00pm. The center has a small library, a shower, food pantry, clothing closet, respite room, classroom and personal business station for youth.

Services they provide or will pay for are: Rental Assistance, Utility Assistance, Shelter Placement, Tickets to get home, Guaranteed Job Placement, Free Haircuts, Medical & Dental Expenses, Del Taco Food Vouchers, Laundry Services, Bus Passes, Mailing Address, Fax Service, Snacks, Hygiene Products, Toiletries, Personal Voicemail System, Computer & Internet Access, Notary, Birth Certificates, Social Security Cards, Gasoline, Backpacks, Weather Appropriate Clothing, Bus Tokens, Calling Cards, Telephone Access, TAM Cards, Nevada ID's, Sheriff's Cards, Health Cards, Onsite Life Skills classes and Onsite Medical Care via COW
